My family tree, or lineage if you prefer, is half Vulcan, half Human. My Vulcan father Sarak called me a miserable half-breed, to say he had no feelings is the understatement of the millennium. My Human mother Amanda was little better than my father. In fact, she was callous, cold woman - bluntly stating that I was a green-blooded, pointed-eared freak with no practical use whatsoever. Once she told me if she had known she was carrying me, she would have had an abortion. Mother often laughed behind my back while my peers punched and threw stones at me. Childhood was hard for me; other children said I was not "really" Vulcan. That is why I left my home planet to join Starfleet.
